it's been a while

but it's because I'm boring

I've been up to the same old thing... working on a couple of orders, my family, and comparative shopping of my items with those of similar items on etsy.
yeah, my stuff is cuter ;)

another luna scarf...

I have made about 5 of these in the last two years. they are wonderfully simple...
the last three I've done I've made out of sock yarn and sport weight yarn. it's a little more finicky but it makes the completed piece nice and loose for a wonderful fashion scarf that you can wear all year round.

these are just scans of the scarf. I didn't have a good background set up to photograph it so I just set them in my scanner. it worked well enough.

while making these I could not contain my giddiness. every time I look at them I totally freak out




addition:
I have seen patterns for similar types of shoes, that's why I got the idea to make these for my friend. the closest to what I wanted to make was written in Portuguese and well, I don't speak it.
what I could decipher really didn't look the way I liked so the whole thing just needed a re-design. therefore 'writing a pattern'. that's what I'm doin'.

I've had a lot of compliments on the shoes I've made. I'm glad that my friends I've sent them to love them so much.
